It also has research results done in preparation, especially regarding Thunder's combat action. -Carl W. Cole

Description:
Personal Web Site of a Vietnam veteran, who served in Thailand during the war years of 67, 68. Many people, even Vietnam veterans, don't realize the scope of the contributions made by rear echelon "in theater" military forces. This web page was established to make contact with other Vietnam veterans and others who share and interest in that war, and to give visitors some sense of the contributions to the war effort made by REMF's. Without those contributions, there would be many more names on "The Wall" in Washington DC. Pages include an essay on my memories of the war and the times in which it was fought. In it, I describe the way things looked through the eyes of one American REMF stationed in Thailand. Also included are photos taken in "up-country" Thailand, which depict the Thai people and their customs. Many were taken at Udorn Royal Thai AFB and at Ramasun Station, home of the US Army Security Agency's 7th Radio Research Field Station, where I was stationed as part of Air Force Detachment 4 of the 6922 Security Wing.
